I wasn't expecting much for the price, but these lights do not hit the advertised 12000lm by a long shot. In fact, they are only one tenth of that advertised brightness to the letter. That being said, I have directly compared one of these lights with a Grote BZ551-5 and while the construction of the light is of significantly lower quality and definitely nowhere near as robust, they are equivalent in brightness and you can buy eight times as many of these as you can one of the Grote lights. In terms of necessity by volume, these lights out shine just about every other commercial product you can buy in bulk if you buy the 20 pack. At $5 a piece you really can't be mad about the quality. The only thing I was really disappointed about was the likely fat fingering of an extra zero on the Lumen rating as it was the only thing that really got my hopes up about these lights. As far as the construction and everything else, I'm neither surprised nor let down. The only thing you might consider doing when getting these lights is applying some clear silicone around the harness at the back and around the lens at the front since neither appear to have been sealed very well. Most of the lenses on the pack that I received are not square with the housing and there is a significant Gap between the lens and the housing all the way around which leads to suspicion of reliability when it comes to water tightness. As the saying goes, you get what you paid for.Seem to be bright.BUT, I put too much trust in the picture.THEY ARE ALL THE SAME SIZE.Why did they post that deceptive picture ???Very bright, work great. It is half of what they were and absolutely terrible. The bolts are half the size and strip extremely easy. Sadly, even at the cheap price these are they are not worth me buying anymore.
