After finally having the chance to buy this album roughly a month and a half after its release and giving it a full listen from beginning to end on my way to work on an otherwise dull Monday morning commute, I feel that my loyalty to this power metal super-group, master-minded by power metal legends Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske, would not be complete without this review. Honestly, they deserve every bit of credit they can get, and I am sure any true fan of quality metal music will agree.First and foremost, I will say that Michael Kiske sounds just as great as he did on Keeper of The Seven Keys I and II. If I did not know any better, I would think I was listening to one of those albums. It is not that often that you can find a rock singer who can sound just as great in his mid-40s as he did when he was in his late-teens/early-20s. Seriously, in terms of vocal range and skills, that overrated nutcase Axl Rose simply cannot touch Michael Kiske, and that is a fact. Anyone who does not think so seriously needs their ears checked. Even though Kai Hansen's vocal contribution is strictly in the background, his guitar prowess still shines through by means of proving him to be as great of a guitarist as he is a vocalist. One can definitely distinguish his playing style, due to the similar riffs and solos he uses on this album as he does with Gamma Ray, as well as the first few Helloween and Iron Savior albums. I am not sure if it is a coincidence or not that Dennis Ward and Kosta Zafiriou are from Pink Cream 69, which happens to be the band from whence Andi Deris came to replace Michael Kiske in Helloween after Kiske was dismissed. Funny how that works.Honestly, every song on this album is worth every second of the listen, and it is one of those albums where you just do not want to skip over any tracks at all. After all, this is quality melodic metal, performed by some of the genre's best musicians of all time, who deserve to be as renowned as legends like Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Adrian Smith, Jimmy Page, Rob Halford and Ozzy Osborne. Yes, I am comparing Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen to those aforementioned metal giants, as they are every bit as talented and legitimate as musicians. Popularity means NOTHING in that respect. Period. If you call yourself a fan of quality rock and metal music, then please do not hesitate to pick up this album without delay. If you own Keeper of the Seven Keys I & II, or even the first Unisonic album, then it makes no sense for you not to own this one. I cannot wait to see what these guys can come up with next. KEEP ON ROCKING AWAY KAI HANSEN AND MICHAEL KISKE!!! KEEP THE GOODS COMING AND KEEP ROCK N' ROLL ALIVE!!! \M/\M/
