'I was always interested in astronomy, psychology and religion. After I started to practice yoga and explore Buddhism, I began a search to find ethereal music, - music that would help the listeners move deeper into their own mysticism and inner search for God. I feel Gregorian Chant has this ethereal quality, a prayer in song, without rhythm or beat. I have sought to give a new dimension to Gregorian Chant, creating a modern harmony, mixing in a little symphonic instrumentation, recalling a touch of the religiousity of the Bach and Mozart eras. But still keeping the pure and serene beauty of Gregorian Chant. I invited three other musicians to join me in the project, all with extensive experience in vocal work (Gospel and Spirituals) and with whom I have now been working for years.
